Star Wars Battlefront ‘Outer Rim’ DLC detailed, Greedo and Nien Nunb confirmed

Star Wars Battlefront Outer Rim DLC's newest characters aren't exactly who you thought they would be. I mean who needs iconic characters like Yoda or Chewbacca when you can have Greedo and Nien Nunb as EA confirmed today? Will he shoot first, though?

EA detailed the Outer Rim DLC today, and with it came news that both Greedo and Nien Nunb will be the villain and hero respectively. They were originally teased last week in a revealed image, but it was unknown on whether or not they would make it into the game or were just background decoration. Three new locations will be added as well including Jabba the Hut's palace, factories on Sullust and a sail barge garage on Tattoine.

Outer Rim will also include a new mode called Extraction. Rebel forces must extract various resources from the pickup point to a transport ship. Of course, the Empire will be hot on their tail trying to stop them. Victory will be determined if the Rebels reach their destination or if the Empire prevents them from doing so prior to the time running out.

The pack will be available individually or free as part of the game's $50 season pass.
