Star Wars Battlefront’s ‘Battle of Jakku’ DLC gets explosive in new teaser

While it might be hard to look past Fallout 4's upcoming release, Star Wars Battlefront is still coming on November 17th, 2015. Battlefront isn't releasing without its slew of special items – everyone has the option of guaranteeing themselves some extra DLC in advance, you just need to pre-order the game before it releases.

Battlefront's DLC, Battle of Jakku, will take players 30 years before the upcoming The Force Awakens film and directly after the end of Return of the Jedi. It will bring two new maps from the planet Jakku to Battlefront first to those that pre-ordered the game, then it will be available to the rest of the community in the following week.

Check out the latest teaser for the DLC below, if you pre-ordered the game you'll get to play the Battle of Jakku maps on December 1st and if you waited to purchase Battlefront, you get the DLC on December 8th.

Be among the first players to experience the Battle of Jakku, the pivotal moment when the New Republic confronted key Imperial holdouts on a remote desert planet. Taking place in the aftermath of the Rebel victory in the Battle of Endor, players will experience the events that created the massive, battle-scarred landscape of Jakku shown in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Star Wars Battlefront is set to release for PS4, PC and Xbox One on November 17th.
