Star Wars Battlefront’s beta is open to everyone!

EA answers more questions about Star Wars Battlefront

Earlier this month, Electronic Arts confirmed there will be a beta for Star Wars Battfront coming in October, but details for how one could gain entry were kept a mystery. I assumed entry would be tied-in with some sort of pre-order for the highly anticipated shooter, and thankfully I was wrong.

EA officially confirmed today that Star Wars Battlefront's beta will be open to everyone!

The exact launch date or when you can start downloading the beta remains a mystery, but it's still exciting to know there will be no barrier to entry for the eagerly awaited beta.

As a reminder, the beta will consist of both offline and online modes including co-op and split-screen co-op. Confirmed multiplayer offerings include the 40-player Walker Assault mode on Hoth, as well as the newly revealed Drop Zone mode on Sullust.

For those who prefer playing solo or with a friend online in co-op, the beta will also offer the Survival Mission mode on Tatooine.

"As I mentioned a few weeks back, our team is working hard to continue to gather the proper details around features, modes, weapons, vehicles, and more. We know a lot of the community is eager to get every specific detail around the game, and our team is looking forward to revealing it," said community manager Mathew Everett.
