As if next month's Star Wars Celebration 2015 weren't exciting enough with all the Star Wars movie info we've been bombarded with these past few weeks, fans in attendance may also catch a glimpse at Electronic Arts' highly anticipated, but very mysterious upcoming game Star Wars: Battlefront.
Looking over the show's exhibitors list, it appears Electronic Arts will have a booth at the event. With EA having snagged the exclusive license to create Star Wars games for a "core gaming audience" moving forward in only makes sense that the publisher/developer make a showing at what is arguably one of the largest Star Wars conventions; however, it's unclear exactly what they'll be showing off, if anything at all.
My gut instinct says they'll be teasing Star Wars: Battlefront, but I also wouldn't be surprised if they chose to continue to keep it a mystery until E3 in June. At months of silence regarding the game, EA executive Peter Moore popped up on Twitter to boast about the "superb ovation" the game received at a private retailer showing. As if fans weren't already starved enough for information, Moore teased us with pictures from the private event.
I'd say it's about time the publisher show off something Star Wars: Battlefront related. We've waited long enough. Star Wars Celebration 2015 will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California from April 16 through April 19. It looks like tickets to the show are still available.
