Star Wars Battlefront is now available for digital pre-order on Xbox One, seven weeks ahead of its November 17th release. While you won't be able to play the game until that date, it's a good idea to pre-order it early as you'll also be able to pre-download it ahead of launch. If Star Wars Battlefront is as popular as we think it will be, this could help alleviate server pressure at launch.
Additionally, pre-ordering will grant you access to the exclusive Battle of Jakku DLC. The expansion will be free for everyone, but pre-orders will be able to receive access two weeks before anyone else. Star Wars Battlefront will feature a number of new game modes such as Heroes v Villains, Drop Zone and more so there is plenty of options for all types of players in the genre.
Star Wars Battlefront is aimed to be the most popular game of the year, likely based on name alone. The problem is, when there is so much excitement for a game pre-release, it becomes extremely hard to live up to the hype. We're looking at you Destiny.
