Seriously can 2017 just get here already? OK, maybe not. Rian Johnson has been busy directing the next Episode of the classic Space Opera and he took to tumblr to post a few teaser photos from the set of Episode 8.
Now that's a funky helmet.
Leaks for Star Wars Episode 8 have been very common, and why not? It benefits the fans just as much as it helps the people making it with free promotion. Set photos have leaked, the A-Wing has been confirmed and we might be seeing the return of a much loved character.
Rian Johnson said:
"I can't believe we're halfway through the shoot. (We're halfway through the shoot!)"
The director also included in modified quote from Army of Darkness that read "Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the microfiber sham."
Star Wars Episode 8 is due to release in theaters on December 15, 2017.
