Last week it was discovered that Lucasfilm, the parent company of LucasArts, registered several domain names related to a project titled "Star Wars First Assault". At the time we had no idea what this project was, but it now appears the mysterious project will be some sort of video game — or something related.
Two new trademark applications submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, as spotted by Fusible, have been filed for "First Assault" (Serial Number: 85711610) and "Star Wars: First Assault" (Serial Number: 85711618). Both applications have been listed as "interactive entertainment software" falling under the "Goods and Services" category.
