Disney will begin constructing its Star Wars theme park expansions in April, the company announced at a recent shareholder meeting.
Aside from some concept art offered up by Harrison Ford last month, a construction date is the largest development for the park expansions since their initial reveal in August 2015. Of course, we still don’t know when the parks will open, only that they will be built at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida.
Thankfully, the latest shareholder meeting did reveal some other tantalizing Star Wars news: the full contents of The Force Awakens DVD and Blu-ray. Target recently confirmed that the DVD and Blu-ray versions of the film will release April 5, and we now know they will contain the following extras:
