Disney and Lucasfilm recently revealed that the Star Wars: Rogue One cast was entering principal photography during the D23 Expo. The first official image for Rogue One's cast was revealed soon after, depicting Felicity Jones (The The Theory of Everything) involvement for a while now, but other cast members include Ben Mendelsohn (Bloodline), Donnie Yen (Ip Man), Forest Whitaker (The Butler), Mads Mikkelsen (The Hunt), Alan Tudyk (Con Man), and Riz Ahmed (Nightcrawler).
Donnie Yen, as seen on the bottom right, took to Instagram to reveal a detail from the upcoming film — actually three details. The actor posted a picture of three helmets from Rogue One, two familiar helmets and one helmet slightly reminiscent of the helmet Leia wore while impersonating a bounty hunter in Return of the Jedi.
The helmet on the far right looks to be a redesigned Imperial fighter pilot's, but there is no confirmation of this. The post by Yen has since been deleted, but Yen's statement that had been paired with the photo remains: “I am the force and I fear nothing… Going to put this in my company’s display room.”
He must have feared something, because he deleted the image.
Rogue One is set to release on December 16, 2016.
