I know this isn't saying much, but actor Adam Driver says Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be better than the prequels.
Driver, who plays the villainous Kylo Ren in the upcoming film, which is set 30 years after Return of the Jedi, was confident when asked to compare the film to the previous prequel trilogy.
Driver's stamp of approvals comes during a brief moment from a Vice News video chronicleing his work with Arts in the Armed Forces, a non-profit he co-founded to bring theater to American military personnel and help strengthen the relationship between the military and theater community. The specific moment comes at around the 24:24 mark when he's asked about the new film.
"Man, I can't say anything," Driver responds when asked about The Force Awakens. "I wish I could."
However, when pressed whether the movie will be "better than the prequels," Driver looks at the camera and confidently boasts, "Oh yea. F*ck yea! Yea, yea."
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters on December 18th, so you'll be able to decide for yourself then. In the meantime, check out the video below. The specific Star Wars moment happens around the 24:24 mark.
