Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ lamest character will return in Episode 8

Great, why not TR-8R?

Captain Phama

When actress Gwendoline Christie first spoke on her role as Captain Phasma in Star Wars: The Force Awakens she teased that Phasma was a "Boba Fett-style character" that would make "a lot of impact" but wouldn't be at "the forefront of the action all the time."

By not at the forefront, Christie must have meant that Phasma would have around four lines – even though she was included in the poster for the film. It appears as though, we are getting more of Christie's character in Star Wars: Episode 8.

“I will be in the next Star Wars movie. I think that’s an exclusive, actually,” revealed Christie to PEOPLE.

"I was very overexcited. I made no secret of the fact that I really campaigned for the part for a long time," continued Christie. "And then I was delighted when J.J. Abrams wanted to have me in the film and then wanted to cast me in this role that had originally been designed for a man."

Hopefully they develop Captain Phasma a bit more in the upcoming film… and bring back the true hero of the film, TR-8R.

Hero, Tr-8R
