Star Wars fans left The Force Awakens with a couple of questions on their mind. Who are Rey's parents? Why does C-3PO have a red arm (at least this one got answered)? One of the most glaring questions yet to be answered is on who Supreme Leader Snoke actually is?
Well, we at least know who he's definitely not… and that's Darth Plagueis.
At least according to Pablo Hidalgo, an individual who is close to the project. How close is he, you ask? Well, he's the creative executive of the Lucasfilm Story Group. Hidalgo has been the person behind a number of Star Wars encyclopedias, visual guides, and reason the comics, books, and movies have a sense of continuity.
Since the release of The Force Awakens, Hidalgo has been hounded with questions on the movie and it appears he has reached his limit when it comes to the question 'Is Supreme Leader Snoke Darth Plagueis?'
Well, the answer is a definitive no, because Plagueis is dead, d-e-a-d dead. Hidalgo made this very clear in a Twitter exchange.
There you go, Plagueis has been dead since 2005.
