Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser will be shown online on Black Friday

Cheap discounts and fantastic sales aren't the only things to look forward to this Friday. Disney announced yesterday that the teaser for Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens will be shown online — over on iTunes — in addition to the select theaters on Black Friday (November 28).

The studio previously announced that the highly anticipated 88-second teaser trailer would be shown at 30 theaters on Friday, across Regal, Cinemark, and AMC venues.

Given the disappointment of the prequel trilogy, there's, understandably, a ton of anxiousness among fans eager to see what J.J. Abrams can bring to the long-standing franchise. Friday's teaser will give us a good first idea.
