During BlizzCon today, Blizzard made some major announcements, a brand new game, a Hearthstone expansion and the conclusion to StarCraft 2.
The conclusion will come to us in the form of Legacy of the Void.
The conclusion will begin as a mission to retake your world Aiur as Hierarch Artanis, leader of the mighty protoss race. On your mission to take Aiur back from the zerg Swarm you will come across a new quest, the quest to defeat Amon. This ancient evil entity known as Amon, threatens the existence of the entire galaxy.
StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void will come with a couple new features:
Automated Tournaments
Daily Competition
No-holds-barred tournaments that run once per day at specific times. Entries are open to players of all skill levels. Sign up and survive the elimination rounds!
Archon Mode
Two Player Single Base Control
You and an ally share control over a single base to battle against two enemies in multiplayer action.
Allied Commanders
Objective Based Co-Op
Battle with a friend in an open-ended cooperative experience.
