Stardew Valley has officially released on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and that means you get all the joys of wooing the villagers into loving you so that if you ever stage a coup, you'll have some backup.
Befriending villagers will help you get hitched and even get you some gifts in the long run. Below, you'll see how to get married and what to give each villager (courtesy of /u/Vechh).
How to get hitched:
Once you woo an available villager to having 10 hearts (best friend status) you need get them to commit.
To get a romantic relationship going, at eight hearts you need to buy a special bouquet from Pierre's General Store and give it to your love interest. This will allow you to get to 10 hearts. While you're wooing them, make sure you do two things: repair the bridge (300 wood) and upgrade the farmhouse at least once.
To get engaged, you must purchase a Mermaid's Pendant from the Old Miner on the beach for 5,000g. You'll find the Old Mariner at the beach on rainy days, every season except Winter.
Your wedding ceremony will take place three days after proposing.
