Start your weekend with 6 totally free awesome Batman games

The folks over at Epic are continuing to give away free games for users of their Epic Games Store. This week however is a highlight, with not one or two but an insane six Batman games for absolutely free. No hooks, no buts. Just free games for all. Head on over to the Epic Games Store here to claim your free gifts!

Epic has been following an unprecedent aggressive tactic in establishing themselves as a major player in the PC gaming scene. Right from the start when they started their own digital game store late last year, the company left no doubt that they are going for the jugular of Steam in particular. If you want to become a star, you have to defeat the champion after all. In all the years since Valve started Steam no real threat managed to emerge in contesting the prime spot. Until Epic that is. Similar to consoles, Epic is trying to win over gamers by securing exclusivity deals with publishers and handing out free games for every user. This strategy is rather crude but requires tons of money. Maybe that’s why no other company attempted it.

Buying exclusives isn’t really winning over the hearts of gamers but giving away free games sure is. Dozens of games have already been handed out in this manner, but this week Epic really has outdone themselves. A smattering of six quality games in the Batman franchise are being gifted currently. They are as following:

  • Batman: Arkham Asylum
  • Batman: Arkham City
  • Batman: Arkham Knight
  • LEGO Batman
  • LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes
  • LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

You might have reservations towards the Epic Games Store but there’s no question that these six games are among the best Batman games of all time. You have time until September 26th when Everything and Metro 2033 Redux take over the rotation of new free games.
