Zombie survival game State of Decay has surpassed one million downloads. Although the game technically reached the milestone sometime last month, Undead Labs waited until today to announced it.
"Over a million of you are now playing State of Decay, including our new friends currently rocking the Steam Early Access," the company said on its blog. Back in June, State of Decay hit the 500,000 download mark as an XBLA-only title.
"As we said at the half million mark, we are humbled by your continuing support and enthusiasm for the ideas in State of Decay. Your encouragement drives us to keep working and keep improving. You got us here with your energy, your feedback, and your telling your friends about us. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and brains."
Looking ahead, State of Decay will be supported with downloadable content. And while Undead Labs isn't quite ready to lift the lid on it, they did confirm that they are "so close" to having some news about it.
