Steam Machine gets official release date

The Steam Machine Store went live on Steam in the beginning of March boasting a November release for the Steam Machine and other items. Well, the date has been set and Valve is sticking to their November launch window.

The Steam Machine, Steam Link and Steam Controller will be available for purchase on November 10th. Steam and GameStop/EB Games has officially begun taking pre-orders for the Alienware Steam Machine and Valve's accessories.

The Alienware Steam Machines begin at $449 and go upwards of $700, depending on what model you choose. Both the controller and Steam Link are being sold for $49.99, alternatively you can purchase them for $99.98 as a bundle (on Steam). The Steam Link is essentially a Chromecast for Steam, connecting the Link to your internet and plugging it in to your TV will allow you to stream games at 1080p on your TV.

If you pre-order sooner rather than later, you can get the Steam Machine, Steam Link and/or Steam Controller on October 16th – weeks before its official release.
