It's here! It's here! The annual Steam Summer Sale has begun and with it comes discounts on tons of games, including day one deals for Grand Theft Auto 5, Tales from the Borderlands, and the XCOM franchise.
Once again, there are exclusive Summer Sale trading cards that can be used to craft badges, but it appears to be tied to a Monster Game in whih you "Join a game and fight the enemy monsters as you help your team level up, unlock new abilities, and achieve community milestones." We're currently having problems accessing the game, but will provide a full guide and explanation once we figure it out. It does apear, however, that playing the game will unlock daily milestones — 48-hour discounts on select "mystery" games.

In addition to the daily deals, we have 15 games discounted for the next 12 hours through the Flash Sale. You'll notice, Valve added some more games to the Flash Sale, but also tacked on four extra hours in between the refresh time.
It also looks like Valve has removed the Community Choice vote, instead opting for this mini Monster Game to unlock additional sales.
