Twice a year, Steam takes its entire catalog and slashes the price on every game, bringing savings that are so often unmatched compared to other platforms. The Steam Summer Sale is almost upon us as the Paypal UK Twitter account has revealed that it will start later this week on June 22nd.
Here's the tweet:
It’s official. The #SteamSummerSale starts 22/06 at 6pm BST and PayPal customers get an extra £5 off *terms apply. https://t.co/PdXnlKZ6qh pic.twitter.com/hobxCz3TBm

Valve hasn't made an official announcement themselves, but a Paypal promotion where spending £20 saves you £5 ends on July 5th, lines up the dates that previously leaked on Reddit about a month ago. Paypal themselves are calling the announcement "official," so it's a pretty safe bet that you should have your wallets ready to go by this Thursday.
What will you be picking up during the Summer Sale? A discount on something new, or catch up on an oldie in the bargain bin?
