Steam users encounter serial key problems with Batman: Arkham Asylum

Steam users who purchased Batman: Arkham Asylum recently were encountering unexpected issues with serial key activation.

Although customers were charged, their game was marked as "not found in the database."

The problem seemed to stem from the DRM service SecuROM, which pops up with a window upon launching the game. Affected customers took to the forums to voice their complaints.

Batman publisher Warner Bros. was "researching the issue," which has now been fixed according to Community Manager Sarah Wellock: "Codes should work for all users."
