Earlier this month rumors began circulating on when the Steam Winter Sale would officially begin and it looks like the dates have been confirmed. Just as the rumors suggested, the Winter Sale will be bringing discounts to a bunch of PC games on December 22nd.
The confirmation comes from Paypal's official UK Twitter account. PayPal outed the Steam Summer Sale last year, as well as the following Winter Sale. At this point, it's tradition for PayPal to confirm Steam sale dates. With the sale beginning on December 22nd it will likely run until January 2nd, 2017.
Unfortunately, this means the Winter Sale will be happening at the same time as the Xbox Countdown to 2017 Sale and the PlayStation Holiday Sale. No one is safe, no one.
There were some pretty great PC games this year – the question is, which one do you want to see on sale?
