Steam working on fix for Star Trek on PC; could take a few minutes to an hour

PC owners of the just-released Star Trek video game will soon be able to access the multiplayer co-op, a component that the game is meant to be played with.

The official Twitter account for Star Trek just tweeted out:

In addition to this tweet, I spoke to a represtentative from Paramount Picutres/Star Trek: The Video Game that explained the problem to me. Basically, the issue is on Steam's side, and it's not the first time they've had this issue with a game. It would've been fixed sooner, but the developers couldn't replicate the issue responsible for it on their side.

He assured me that the PC gamers affected by the issue will soon be able to play co-op, as they're literally in the process of fixing it. It could be a few minutes; it could be an hour. Then you could play the game the way it's meant to be played.

We will keep you updated when the issue is resolved and multiplayer is functional.
