SteamWorld Heist 3DS release date announced

SteamWorld Heist has a release date. The game that takes place in the same western steampunk world as SteamWorld Dig will be launching on the 3DS in North and South America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand on December 10. The Japanese version, as well as all other current platforms versions, will be coming at a later date.

SteamWorld Heist is much different than SteamWorld Dig, though with the same visuals that fans of the first love. This turn-based combat game will have players taking over other spaceships for vital resources. Players that love strategy, loot and upgrades should feel right at home.

SteamWorld Heist will cost $20 / €20 / £15, but will be on sale for $17 / €17 / £12 from launch until December 31. For 3DS users that love their themes, there will be an exclusive Nintendo 3DS Home Menu theme that comes with every purchase from December 10 to the 31.
