Over the last few months, we’ve seen several trailers featuring various scenes from Final Fantasy XV. Despite the number of trailers, the footage always seems to be quite similar. While this new ‘Step Into the Shadows’ trailer shows off a dungeon and the combat, it STILL takes place in the same dark cave we’ve seen over and over again. I’m not saying this new trailer isn’t good, it’s actually pretty sweet, but man – I’d like some new scenery.
The banter between the characters seems really forced to build hardened archetypes. I get that we’re only dealing with a two minute trailer here, but this stuff always sticks out to me. I suppose the focus should be on the combat and not the dialogue. To each their own?
