Stephen Curry steps out from the shadows in new NBA 2K16 trailer

2K Sports has released a new trailer for NBA 2K16, highlighting the game's revamped MyCareer Mode. Featuring Golden State Warriors Point Guard Stephen Curry, the trailer highlights his journey into the NBA, culminating with an MVP and World Championship.

NBA 2K16's career mode will be a "Spike Lee Joint," and the Golden State Warriors narrates this brief glimpse of what's to come. 2K's stories have been the best in sports games for a while now, and this year's game looks to continue that trend.

This short is the first of three videos, each one taking a brief look at the journey of one the cover athletes. The other two are James Harden and Anthony Davis. There will also be a special edition featuring Michael Jordan on the cover, because he's Michael Jordan and can still move product 15 years after retiring.

NBA 2K16 arrives September 29 on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
