An announcement from Marvel.com has confirmed that Stick, played by Scott Glenn, will make a return in the second season of the highly-rated Daredevil series.
Glenn, 74, could easily be described as a legendary actor in his own right, having taken part in some major projects in the past; Urban Cowboy, The Right Stuff and The Bourne Ultimatum to name a few.
Today's announcement said the following: "Stick crashes into Daredevil's life right when he needs him the least," returning for three episodes "with a new mission that Matt wants no part of."
The new series currently does not have an official – or exact – release date, however we do know that it will fall in the year of 2016. The official Netflix account actually teased the trailer a while ago, which can be seen below:

Commenting on the character's return, Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb said: "After seeing Scott’s performance in the first season, we knew that we had to bring him back for more. He is an extraordinary actor and we leapt at the chance to expand on his adventures with Matt and Daredevil.
“In some ways, Stick is to Marvel's Daredevil what Scott Glenn has been to film and TV – a magnetic and awesome force to be reckoned with,” said Executive Producer/Showrunner Marco Ramirez. “It's an honor to welcome him back, and the Daredevil team can't wait to unleash Scott's unique brand of bad-assery upon the world in Season 2.”
