Stop potential Star Wars: The Force Awakens spoilers with this Chrome add-on

Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to release this week. If there's one thing that's guaranteed, there will be plenty of spoilers on the internet before the very first showing even ends. The internet will not be a safe place for anyone that planned on watching the movie after opening weekend.

Fortunately, some kind souls on the internet have created a free add-on for the Google Chrome browser that will stop users from viewing pages if the program detects any spoilers. Of course, users can choose to ignore the warnings and continue on to the site, if they so choose.

How does it work? It basically blocks any site that page that mentions Star Wars. The add-on allows users to whitelist websites to allow for easier navigation and viewing, but it does go a bit over-the-top. You could say, the Force is a bit too strong with the add-on, but you can never be too careful… Especially when it comes movie spoilers.

There's still a lot we don't know about The Force Awakens and it would be a shame for someone to ruin it for you on accident.

Check out the Star Wars spoiler blocker right here.
