Streamlined PS4 mouse and keyboard coming this fall

Ultimate weapon for FPS players

Later this year, console gamers will get the ability to purchase a streamlined version of a mouse and keyboard for their PlayStation 4.

The 'Tatical Assault Commander 4' will mimic a PC control system, which means the DualShock 4's left analog stick is mapped to a WASD movement system while the right analog stick, normally reserved for camera movement, is controlled with the mouse.

As you can see from the image above, the mouse and keyboard  is very minimal, only having buttons that are necessary for gaming. We also see that the keyboard has some unique buttons as well, in particular a "snipe mode" and a walk button. This feature most likely switches the characters movement from running to walking with a press of the button while the "snipe mode" likely lowers the sensitivity for the mouse automatically.

The 'Tatical Assault Commander 4' will be usable on a PS3 as well. The product will launch this October and will be sold around $120-$130 and is only available for pre-order at UK and Japanese retailers. At the time of writing this, there has been no announcement for a US version, but no worries as the 'Tatical Assault Commander 3' made its way over to US; so we expect to see the 'TAC4' make its way to US as well. Stick to GameZone as we will be on the look-out for a US listing.
