Street Fighter 5: R. Mika’s costume was too sexy for ESPN to handle during EVO

R. Mika's rear end couldn't stay out of the news for long, it simply wasn't possible. It appears as though R. MIka's default costume (as seen above) was too sexy for ESPN. During the first match for Fuudo during EVO 2016, ESPN made a special request of Fuudao change R. Mika's costume.

According to the Japanese interpreter for the event, after Fuudo's first match he was asked to change from R. Mika's default costume to the Story 1 costume. The main difference between the two are a lack of butt and under-cleavage instead of over cleavage.

Here's a look at the Story 1 costume:

As you can see, her chest is much more covered and so is her derriere (which can be seen in the gif above).

The default costume's chest:

It's unknown whether Fuudo ended up in second place because of the costume change or not, but congratulations to him on making it!

There has been quite a bit of drama around R. Mika in Street Fighter 5, and it goes back to even before the game was released. In November of last year, a test build of the game revealed that R. Mika's taunt, the infamous butt-slap, had been toned down – as in removed from view.

Series producer Yoshinori Ono initially explained that the censorship had come from not wanting players to think "This is not acceptable" while playing the game. Later, Ono offered more details on the removal, saying it was removed so the game wasn't "offensive" and would provide "a friendly environment for everyone."

Honestly, there's only one thing I can think of when I think of her (and no, it's not her costume):
