Earlier this year the Street Fighter V public beta was released and with that came matchmaking issues. A couple months later, we arrive at the 2nd Street Fighter V beta with the same issues.
"Unfortunately, several new issues arose last night in regards to our matchmaking system and the rate at which matches were made," Capcom said. "We are not confident that the matchmaking rate will improve significantly throughout the course of this beta period. That said, user experiences will vary."
In order to participate in this beta, players must pre-order the game. Capcom has announced the SFV beta schedule, check it out below:
A third of the Street Fighter V beta period has not been announced, but Capcom says, “we continue to periodically turn on our servers for players to access, so keep your eyes open for new opportunities to play more SFV."
The first beta was originally only on PS4, this current beta is now testing cross-platform play between PS4 and PC; now players will be matched with either PS4 or PC users. Sadly if you're a Xbox user, Street Fighter V won’t ever make its way over Xbox One.
Street Fighter V still has no release date, but Capcom reassures us that the game will launch before the end of our current fiscal year, which happens to be March 31st, 2016. Stick with GameZone for further updates on SFV.
