Street Fighter X Tekken gets 12 more characters this month

Capcom has announced that it will be releasing 12 more playable fighters for Street Fighter X Tekken before the month's end. For 1600 Microsoft Points or $19.99, fans of the game will be able to download the new DLC pack, which features six characters from Street Fighter and six characters from Tekken.

Debuting in Street Fighter X Tekken from the Street Fighter side are Blanka, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Guy, and Sakura. Meanwhile, Alisa Bosconovitch, Bryan Fury, Christie Monteiro, Jack-X, Lars Alexandersson, and Lei Wulong will even the odds for the Tekken fighters.

Folks who pre-order Street Fighter X Tekken for the Vita will receive alternate costumes for each of the 12 DLC characters. Additionally, Vita players will receive two download codes upon purchasing first-run copies of the game. The first code will feature the 12 DLC characters, while the second will come packed with costumes for the game's original 38 fighters.

The character DLC pack will launch for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Capcom's latest fighter on July 31. Fighting game aficionados can expect Street Fighter X Tekken to land on the Vita sometime during the fall.
