Strength of the Sword 3 indie sword-fighting game launches for PS3

Small indie team Ivent Games has launched its first game today for PlayStation 3.

Strength of the Sword 3 is a downloadable title about old-school challenge and, yes, sword-fighting. Players control a mechanical knight sent from the heavens to battle the evil that's sweeping the land.

I've never heard of the game before now, but it's got a cool, cartoony graphics style.

Combat involves action, strategy, and management of three resources: stamina (self-replenishing), mana (player-generated), and ammunitions and shields (finite). "Group A.I." learns the player's style and adapts accordingly.

The title currently costs $5 on the PlayStation Network.
