Stylish Noir Strategy game, This Is The Police launches later this month

Video games have this thing about making their players feel like the hero of their own story. It's our role to fight the bad guys and save the world, whether it's a post-apocalyptic wasteland or a sprawling galaxy. That is not the story with This Is The Police.

You are Jack, a long time veteran of the force, and you've got 180 days until you retire. In that time you will be facing off against some of the most dangerous criminals in the city of Freeburg and the objective of the game is to get rich or die trying. This Is The Police offers a dark, story-driven experience with a 25-hour single player campaign filled with a plethora of choices that change the game.

The game is all about building up Jack's retirement fund before his time on the force is over, and you can do that by selling seized drugs to the Mafia or trading favors with psychotic killers all while maintaining your cover during your day job from your fellow officers. This Is The Police tests how ruthless the player is willing to be to achieve their goals, by letting fellow officers die or take the fall for you.

This Is The Police will release on PC, Mac and Linux later this month on July 28th, 2016 with a console release coming sometime in the future.
