As far as Suda51's games go, Liberation Maiden isn't his best. Some of the designer's other titles, like Lollipop Chainsaw and No More Heroes, have fared better.
If you're a fan of Goichi Suda, however, you may be interested to know that his contribution to Level-5's 3DS compilation Guild01 is landing on iOS over the next couple days.
The sci-fi shooter debuted alongside Yoot Saito's Aero Porter, Yasumi Matsuno's Crimson Shroud, and Yoshiyuki Hirai's Rental Bukiya de Omasse — the only one of the four not to get a Western release.
The game takes place 100 years in the future and follows high school student Shoko Ozora, who becomes the President of New Japan following her father's assassination.
Liberation Maiden is available on the 3DS eShop for $7.99. Expect it to arrive soon for iPhone and iPad for roughly the same price. It's already out on the Australian iOS App Store.
