Suicide Squad director says film isn’t spoiled by leaks

Director David Ayer believes in "old school filmmaking," as in using "real places" instead of elaborate sets or computer generated cinematics. His film style allowed tons of Suicide Squad scenes to be leaked online by eager fans.

We have seen Ben Affleck's Batman on the Suicide Squad set, Harley Quinn and the Joker fighting, and the Joker get chased by the Batmobile (the Batmobile looks pretty good).

Despite all of the leaks, Ayer is saying that the film hasn't been spoiled. Taking to Twitter Ayer said his thanks to Toronto for allowing him and the cast to film there and that we still had plenty to see, but this time we wouldn't be seeing things from leakers. "Well we survived the streets. Time to go dark now," said Ayer. "Remember, only the tiniest glimpse has been exposed. Our surprises are intact."

Suicide Squad releases in theaters on August 5, 2016.
