Suicide Squad has an important secret mid-credits scene

Maybe they'll show The Question!

The release of DC Comics' next big film, Suicide Squad, is just around the corner and the closer we get to release, the more details about it start leaking out. The latest big news is that Suicide Squad will feature an important mid-credit scene.

Fans of the superhero genre are familiar with the concept of having to sit through the credits just to make sure that they won't miss an important scene, and we all have Marvel to thank for that trend. Up until now, DC has not been following that trend, neither Man of Steel or Batman v Superman had any scenes hidden in the credits, but now DC will also be joining that trend, at least with Suicide Squad.

According to ComicBook.com, there will only be one scene in the credits and it will be quite important. It will appear after the so called "bumpers", where Marvel usually adds their first scene, and ComicBook.com said that the scene in Suicide Squad is both "pivotal and important".

Next to nothing has been confirmed about this mystery scene, but the consensus is that it is a really important scene. While the content of this scene is still unknown there are a few probably theories of what the scene could be about.

There will be a surprise DC hero in Suicide Squad and it is possible that this hero will only be in the credits scene and not in the rest of the film as a way of bridging the gap between other DC films. Then there is the possibility that it will be about Harley Quinn since it's pretty much confirmed that she'll be getting her own film, or one of the other Suicide Squad members since there are rumor about standalone films for them as well. Batman will also be getting his own standalone film and rumors has it that it will be set in Arkham Asylum so it is possible that the mid-credit scene will be about that since most of the Suicide Squad members lives in the asylum… or it could be something completely different.

Find out for yourself what the mid-credits scene in Suicide Squad is all about on August 5th.
