Sunset Overdrive available Now on PC for just $19.99

After years of rumors and speculation, today is finally the day that Insomniac Games is releasing Sunset Overdrive on PC. The stylish open-world game is available right now on Steam and Microsoft Store for only $19.99. Check out the PC trailer!

It seemed like a yearly tradition that rumors of a PC port of 2014’s Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive cropped up on the web but little manifested into reality. This year however, is finally culminating in the dream coming true and opening the game to a whole new audience.

In Sunset Overdrive, the year is 2027 and Sunset City is under siege. A contaminated energy drink has transformed most of the population into toxic mutants. For many it’s the end of the world, but for you it’s a dream come true. Your old boss? Dead. Your boring job? Gone. Transform the open-world into your tactical playground by grinding, vaulting and wall-running across the city while using a devastating, unconventional arsenal. With hyper-agility, unique weapons, and customizable special abilities, Sunset Overdrive rewrites the rules of traditional shooters and delivers an explosive, irreverent, stylish, and totally unique adventure.

After the surfacing of Sunset Overdrive for PC on an ESRB rating earlier this month, Amazon leaked both the release date, price and contents a couple days ago. Its existence was all-but officially acknowledged.

So many credible leaks finally led to Insomniac Games confirming the game’s release today. Sunset Overdrive for PC includes all previously released DLC and costs only $19.99. A steal for one of the most unique open-world action games this generation. Don’t miss our original review of the Xbox One version.

The PC versions features all the nice options PC gaming has to offer. For the first time, gamers are able to play Sunset overdrive at 4K resolution and 60FPS. A great opportunity to replay the game in an enhanced version or discover a true hidden gem for the first time.
