Sunset Overdrive highlights Xbox One’s Deal of the Day

As part of Microsoft's "Countdown" sale for the new year, we've got two new "Deals of the Day" for Xbox today.

On Xbox One, we've got Sunset Overdrive discounted 33% for Xbox LIVE Gold members (25% general). Released in 2014, this open world action-adventure was considered by many to be one of the Xbox One's best exclusives last year. Set in 2027, Sunset City is under siege, contaminated by an energy drink that has transformed most of the population into toxic mutants. It may be the end of the world, but it means a completely new life for you, as you turn this open-world into your playground — grinding, vaulting, and wall-running acrosst he city while using a devasting arsenal of unique weapons and customizable abilities to take down the evil corporation responsible. As for the Xbox 360, Gold members can save 70% (60% general) on Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare, an adorable take on the traditional online shooter experience, blending the humor of Plants vs Zombies with explosive co-op and multiplayer action.

These games join the already large list of Xbox titles discounted through Microsoft's "Countdown" sale, which runs through the New Year. However, these titles specifically are only available for the rest of today.
