You know how it's easy to tell that we're in the middle of the gaming industry's biggest time of year? When a Tuesday sees the release of three blockbuster titles.
Today, gamers can enjoy Lords of the Fallen, the new action-RPG from City Interactive Games, EA Sports NBA Live 15 from EA, and Sunset Overdrive from Insomniac Games. Although Sunset Ovedrive is an Xbox One exclusive, PlayStation 4 owners can enjoy Lords of the Fallen and NBA Live 15. Meanwhile, the PC master race gets Lords of the Fallen.
Sunset Overdrive is a wild and crazy, fast-paced shooter which drops you into a tactical playground filled with toxic mutants. To survive, you must grind, vault, and wall-run while using a devastating arsenal made up of unconventional weapons like the TNTeddy, a grenade launcher that fires Teddy bears with TNT strapped to them. Lords of the Fallen is a new action-RPG that has drawn comparisons to FromSoftware's Dark Souls. Of course, that's not an easy comparison to live up to. The Dark Souls series is known for its stellar gameplay and intense difficulty. Check out our review to see how Lords of the Fallen stacks up.
And lastly, we've got EA Sports NBA Live 15. Unfortunately, we don't yet have a review of EA's latest basketball game, but the company promises that it has listened to fan feedback from last year's iteration. NBA Live 15 sees more than 500 core gameplay improvements, reimagined visuals, and new real-time physics.
