Sunset Overdrive races onto Rocket League

Insomniac Games has announced that Fizzy, the character we both love and hate from Sunset Overdrive, is headed to Rocket League. A couple of garage items are being added to the game featuring a Fizzy antenna and an Ahab booster that shoots out bubbles of Overdrive drink as jet propulsion.

These will only be on the Xbox One version of Rocket League when it releases in February, which shouldn't come as a surprise given Sunset Overdrive's Xbox One exclusivity.

We don't have an exact release date yet, but Fizzy will join both Gears of War and Halo themed vehicles which were confirmed during the official reveal at The Game Awards last month. Although the PS4 version does feature cross play with PC users, the Xbox One version unfortunately will not.

Rocket League will be coming to Xbox One next month, and let's hope we get the constant updates of free content that have made the game so good on PC and PS4 as well. We'll let you know as soon as Psyonix releases any information.
