Microsoft's Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive is getting a Season Pass. I know, total shocker, right?
Announced today, the Sunset Overdrive Season Pass will offer all sorts of additional post-launch content, including the first three complete game add-ons, suggesting that there's even more content planned for the future.
Two of the add-ons are campaign-related bringing "new locations to explore, stories to experience, and bosses to battle," along with new weapons, new Amps, a new Trap, new character outfits, and new challenges and Chaos Squad objectives. The third add-on is a Weapons Pack that brings four deadly new weapons which, unfortunately, weren't detailed. In addition to campaign add-ons, the Season Pass will reward you with six character outfits, two Amps and two Traps to use as soon as the game is released.
So in total, you're getting eight new weapons, four deadly traps to deploy in Chaos Squad, four new Amps, and 10 unique outfits — all for just $19.99. That's a savings of 20 percent compared to purchasing the three add-ons individually.
