Super Hexagon and Ikaruga available for Android

Super Hexagon and Ikaruga have found their way from the App Store to your Android device.

Terry Cavanagh's popular action game Super Hexagon is currently selling for a special 99-cent launch price on Google Play. The indie developer delayed the release because of input lag issues on the Nexus 7.

Cavanagh is encouraging players to contact support if they encounter problems: "We’ve done lots and lots of testing and fixing to make this work well on as many Android devices as possible, but of course, on as wide a platform as Android, bugs are inevitable," he wrote on his blog.

Ikaruga has also come to Google Play five weeks after its Japanese release on Android, according to Pocket Gamer. At $9, it's a bit pricey, but the cost is worth it for one of the best and most challenging shoot-em-ups out there.

It previously came out on GameCube and Xbox Live Arcade.
