Sure, the Super Mario Bros. movie might be considered a mess by most people, including the guy that directed it, but that doesn't mean the film shouldn't get a Blu-ray re-release, right? Well, at least one retailer believes the film not only deserves a Blue-ray re-release, but also a re-release with a Limited Edition Steelbook.
Zavvi, a UK-based retailer, is exclusively selling a new Limited Edition Steelbook version of the previously released Blu-ray version of the film. The Steelbook version won't just come with a pretty case and Blue-ray version of the 1993 film, though.
In addition to the movie, the Blu-ray will also include the original electronic press kit and behind the scenes/storyboard galleries, a new 60-minute documentary – including co-directors Rocky Morton and Annabel Jankel, producer Roland Joffe, as well as actors John Leguizamo and Richard Edson. On top of all that, archived interviews with Bob Hoskins and producer Jake Eberts are included.
Pre-orders can be made here for £19 and are set to ship on February 13.
