On the heels of Super Mario Maker's mega hot release, Nintendo has announced a new update that will land on November 4th.
One of the most requested features, checkpoints, will now be added to the game. This will allow for players to be slightly more creative and dangerous in their additions as they no longer have to worry about having that "oh so close" feeling only to die at the end of the level. There will also be a special events section that will be introduced allowing for timed courses and sorts. In the Events hub, players will see certain holiday themed levels, timed exclusive courses where you'll compete to see who can beat a certain level the fastest etc.
