Amidst today’s announcements regarding the release dates of Star Fox Zero and Xenoblade Chronicles X, Nintendo also confirmed that the Super Mario Maker Wii U Bundle will be a retailer exclusive.
According to Nintendo, the Super Mario Wii U Bundle — which includes the game, Idea Book and the 30th Anniversary Mario Modern Color amiibo — will only be sold at Walmart. It will release on September 11th, although it’s currently available for pre-order on Walmart.com for $299.99.
For those unfamiliar, Super Mario Maker, for the first time in Mario’s history, gives fans the power to create their own platforming levels. And even though the game isn’t set to release for a few weeks now, videos from reviewers who have received early copies reveal some promising potential.
