Super Mario Odyssey was shown off at E3 2017 last week and since then, people have been picking apart different presentations to get more information on next Mario title.
During GameSpot's gameplay video, it was revealed that the game will have 30-50 moons per level. For those who haven't seen the reveal of Super Mario Odyssey, the game seems to be the biggest Mario title yet. This time around, Mario must collect moons, as opposed to star pieces like previous games.
These moons seem more easily collectible than other Mario titles, but 30-50 is still quite a big venture. We don't know how many levels there are, but so far six have been revealed.
During the GameSpot's video, one of the hosts compares the scope to Breath of the Wild, which the Nintendo rep agreed with, considering what he's seen so far. Though, the exploration of Super Mario Odyssey, he said, is much different.
Super Mario Odyssey is set to release on October 27 on Nintendo Switch. For those who can't wait to try out Mario's new hat powers, maybe try out this Super Mario 64 mod that slots the power right into the classic.
