Super Mario Odyssey to be Showcased at E3 2017

As if anyone were unsure, Nintendo will be appearing at E3 2017 in June. This morning on Twitter, they revealed that Super Mario Odyssey will be covered.

Considering the focal point of the post is Mario with his hat from the game, it's probably safe to assume it will be a prominent feature of their presentation. There will be a Nintendo Spotlight for the event on June 13 at 9am PT/12pm ET. This event is said to show new Nintendo Switch games for 2017, including Super Mario Odyssey. Currently, it's unsure whether or not these will be previously known games or unannounced ones, but it will focus on just the Switch.

Immediately following the Spotlight, another Nintendo Treehouse event starts. It will showcase gameplay of Switch and 3DS titles. As always, the Spotlight will be more of a presentation, while the Treehouse is more of a live demo.

Lastly, on June 13 and 14, there will be the 2017 Splatoon 2 World Inkling invitational and 2017 ARMS Open Invitational live from the Nintendo E3 booth. Both will be streamed.

All of this can be found at Nintendo's E3 portal here.
