"Super Mario Run: A new kind of Mario game that you can play with one hand." We know that Super Mario Run is coming to iOS and Android on December 15 and at what price, but today we were greeting with more details for the game.
Mario runs automatically, vaulting over small obstacles and the player must help him traverse more difficult trials. Pause blocks stop Mario and allow for timed jumps. Jumping while on backward-facing arrow blocks causes Mario to jump backward, while forward-facing blocks launch him into a long jump. Collecting all pink challenge coins in a level unlocks new challenges in a level.
A new challenge mode called Toad Rally has Mario racing a friend's past run on a course and winning gives you coins. Coins are used in another mode called Kingdom Builder where you build a kingdom, which can unlock bonus games and other characters including Luigi, Yoshi and Toad who all play differently!
