Super Meat Boy is one of the biggest indie titles ever made. It hooked players with infuriatingly challenging missions that would get you to throw your controller across the room, only to quickly retrieve it and try again. And it will soon arrive on Wii U.
Tommy Refenes, co-founder of developer Team Meat, took to Twitter to update fans on the development of the Wii U version:
Super Meat Boy is coming to WiiU very very very soon. @BlitWorks is wrapping it up and you should be playing it in a couple months! Hooray!

Refenes added that there are still a couple more months of work left for the port, so Wii U fans will have to stick in there just a little while longer.
Super Meat Boy was originally released on Xbox 360 and PC back in 2010, and came to PS4 and Vita in June 2015. The game is predicated upon a string of high-difficulty levels heavily inspired by old retro games. Team Meat has also stated it could receive a direct sequel.
